We will start with looking at some of the astonishing paintings and sculptures from medieval times and then see how different the approach later became when we look at the 17th century Dutch art by masters like Rembrandt and Vermeer in the so called Gallery of Honor.
Join me for a visit to the fantastic Rijksmuseum in Amsterdam, with over 7000 objects in 80 rooms.
We won’t have time to see everything of course, you could spend several weeks inside without having seen everything.

And we cannot skip the doll houses that give us such a valuable inside in the way of life in a 17th century canal house.
